About

Established in 2005, Racket is a small multi-award winning design studio specialising in unique high quality solutions for web and print. Our approach to design is informed by our backgrounds in visual arts, graphic design and human ecology. Studio founders Paul Mosig and Rachel Peachey are accomplished photographers and multimedia artists, with interests in sustainable practice, community engagement & cultural development.

Paul Mosig

Paul has been working in the design industry for nearly ten years. He started work as web designer in 1999 and through that role became interested in the intersection of art and design. Paul holds a degree in New Media Arts from the Australian Center for Arts & Technology (Australian National University). Over the years Paul has won several awards for his artwork and in 2006 he was named one of Australia’s top 25 artists aged 25 and under by Art & Australia magazine.  He is currently part of the international jury of The CSS Awards.

Rachel Peachey

Rachel spent years traveling before returning to Canberra to complete a combined art/science degree, studying Textiles, Photography, Video and Human Ecology at the Australian National University. Her art practice is focused on people interacting in landscapes both real and imagined. This interest has been explored in all manner of places including site specific works from artist residencies in Southern India, with paleoecologists at Blue Lake in the Snowy Mountains and in a dilapidated ex rangers hut with a killer views overlooking the Yarra. Her particular design interests include print media and interiors.
