Sheltering old volcano.

For the last few months Hermione Merry and I have been dreaming up a photo story that we would shoot with friends and family at a glorious, relaxed and playful camping trip in the crater of Mt Franklin. Cue crazy once in a decade style floods, with winds and lighting cracking trees near little families snuggled in flimsy tents pegged to within am inch of their lives. It was a bit rushed and chaotic but there were moments when it felt pretty grand and below are a few glimpses from the day before we work out what we are going to do with it all.

This looks exquisitely Gothic in tone. Hauntingly beautiful. Shades of “Picnic at Hanging Rock” and “The Piano”, even… Where/how can I see the finished results? (I live in Canada).

Thank you – visiting your site is always beyond inspiring… :)

Thank you….it will be a few months before we sort through the work and decide what we are going to do with it. We will probably exhibit a selection of the images and make a limited edition zine / book and put more of the work in the project section of the website.
