We spent months chasing up the people who were responsible for leasing this window display in the center of Canberra, which had been vacant for over a year. We only wanted to rent the space for two months as a temporary gallery for emerging artists and it took many painstaking calls and meetings with the estate agent and the owner to convince them that it was worthwhile. They finally let us give them some money and with Julian Laffan we curated a series of one week exhibitions involving artists from the Canberra School of Art. We also had a tag team exhibition that involved four artists working one after the other in two day periods. Each artist could change or leave as much of the previous artists work as they liked.
