Synapse

We were artists in residence for 3 months with the ANU’s department of Archaeology and Natural History as part of the Australian Network for Art and Technology’s, Synapse Art & Science Residency program. We spent our time in the microscope lab looking through pollen and spore reference material and out in the field with ANU research scientists around Blue Lake in the Snowy Mountains, NSW. At the end of our residency we had an exhibition at Canberra Contemporary Art Space that explored our research into cultural impact on natural landscapes.
